Dräger PSS® Merlin®
The control board can process and controll up to 12 ba set wearers simultaneously
in which two Positions on the board are provided for the rescue party. The
Activation of the data transceiver is done automatically by
commissioning of the breathing apparatus, ie when Bodyguard II or
Bodyguard 7000 is pressurized. The communication
between the radio modem and the control board is started
by inserting the key identifier/personal tags of the modems into the panel.
Following Information are displayed on the monitoring table (amongst others):
- current tank pressure and low pressure warning
- dead man- alarm and manually controlled distress alert
- retreat signal and acknowledgment of the evacuation order by
the ba-wearer
- temperature locally (only Bodyguard II)
Following signals can be sent via the control board (amongst others):
- evacuation order
- acknowledgment of Motionless alarm and manual distress alert
- retreat signal to the ba set wearer
